Do I need to be fit and bendy to attend a yoga class? Hatha yoga is a gentle practice suitable for people of all ages, shapes, sizes, fitness levels and flexibility. You are encouraged to work within your comfort zone at a pace that suits you. All practices can be adapted to suit your needs.
What should I wear?Loose fitting clothing such as a t-shirt or vest and jogging bottoms or leggings. Layers are recommended as you will warm up and cool off during the class. Yoga is practiced in bare feet.
Can I eat before class?It is advisable to allow 3 to 4 hours digestion time if you have had a main meal. Otherwise if just a light snack, then give yourself at least 1 hour.
What should I bring? Mats, blankets, cushions and water are provided or you are welcome to bring your own.
