Yoga for all
I believe passionately that yoga has something to offer everyone no matter what age, ability, shape, size, experience or health condition. Over the years I have shared yoga and movement with hundreds of people who have benefited from my gentle approach to the practices in a myriad of ways. I am inspired by many schools and teachers but the following quote sums it up for me…
‘Yoga is an act of kindness towards oneself’ ~ Judith Lasater
Through gentle practices and deep relaxation we cultivate compassion for ourselves, finding ease and connection between body, mind, breath and soul. As we quieten down on all levels and listen within we have the potential to become more grounded, harmonious and peaceful. What we cultivate through yoga can be taken into daily life, bringing a deeper sense of self and the ability to hold a space of equilibrium through the myriad of global, local and personal challenges that we face in the 21st century. The practices can be performed on a mat, standing, lying or even seated in a chair according to your preference and health requirements – everything can be adapted to your specific needs.
